~Inoue Nagi , born on February 17, 2005, from Kanagawa Prefecture, blood type B. In 2022, she debut as the member of Nogizaka46 5th generation . Displaying a "transparent" vibes(透明感) and a strong aura when performing,she quickly showed her "strong" presense in the group.She perform as the center in Zetsubou no Ichibyou Mae, as part of the 29th single~

—In the past, you have only admired Nogizaka46 . What kind of thoughts and determination did you have after joining?
Nagi:When I was in the third grade of junior high school, I came across "Nogizaka Under Construction" which was broadcast on TV late at night. At that time, I was watching and had that feeling of "It's really good♡", but because I was preparing for the high school entrance examination, I reminded myself, "I can't get too overly obsessed with Nogizaka!" .When Senior high school started, I started to watched Nogizaka MVs and learn more about Nogizaka46, and gradually I was attracted by its charm.Although Nogizaka46's Live performances are very cool, the vibes between the members are usually very harmonious and cute.This contrast strikes me a lot.
When I learned that Nogizaka46 was about to hold its 5th generation audtion, my determination to "give it a try!" was very strong. Although my family members have concerned about my ability to pass the audition, they still support me because they know how determined I am.
On the day that I stood on the stage for the first time, I was so frightened by the size of the venue that I cried and took off my contact lenses. At that time, I wondered if my tension would be reduced a little when my vision was a little blurry. However, when I saw the board with my name on it for the first time, I was really happy! After that, i put on my contact lens for the stage performance, and consciously started to search amongst the audience for fans/towels/board with my name on it. When i saw the fans/towels/board with my name on it amongst the crowd,i felt really happy and gradually became less nervous and uneasy.
Generally, everyone(11 person) in 5th generation got along very well. No matter it if was a difficult period or a sad mood, everyone worked hard together. I really look up to the seniors, whom are similar to how they appeared on TV. To be honest, I am still confused about how and where I should work hard every day.But for now,i think it is better to concentrate on doing the things that should be done in front of me, even if it is only a little bit, and I hope to catch up in the footsteps of the seniors as soon as possible. That's my current goal for now.
