[Post 1379] “Everyone Feels On Edge” — Chinese Migrants In Today’s America | Walk The Line: ICE Nation - Part 2
Summary
As the crackdown intensifies, Wei follows the aftershocks through the lives of migrants and the people resisting the system around them. Wei meets a fired immigration judge in San Francisco, and travels to a private detention town in New Mexico where immigration detention has become an industry. In Chicago and Minneapolis, teenage ICE observers, activists and unlikely allies push back in very different ways. Meanwhile, Chinese migrants from the original journey confront hearings, check-ins, detention fears and the growing sense that the country they came to no longer resembles the one they imagined.
