Summary
Some retailers of Personal Mobility Aids say prices have increased by up to S$300 or about 10% after new rules kicked in on 1st June. They say compliance costs and additional paperwork have increased operating costs and made the sales process more time-consuming, even requiring more manpower. Still, they say sales have picked up as users are clearer on which devices are allowed and which are not. Alxis Thng reports.
