[Post 1636] From TikTok To DeepSeek: Meet The Women Shaping China's Tech Industry | CNA Correspondent

Summary

China’s tech industry is changing the world, but the spotlight often falls on the men behind it. Far less attention is paid to the women driving that change. ByteDance’s Kelly Zhang, Tencent’s Michelle Liu and Xiaomi’s Luo Fuli are three prominent female leaders who have made their mark in a male-dominated industry. Their careers also reflect different phases in the evolution of China’s technology sector, which, like the rest of the world, is bracing for disruption from the rise of artificial intelligence. From Beijing to Shanghai, Hong Kong to Singapore and on to San Francisco, CNA Correspondent meets users and industry experts to understand how China’s female tech leaders are transforming the way we play, create and connect.
