Kubo: So let's continue, we will be asking Nakanishi Aruno about her memories regarding the audition
Memories regarding the audition
Aruno: One of my university friends mentioned that there was a Nogizaka46 audition, thus my kikake for entering the Nogizaka audition was my friend's recommendation, and we auditioned together. Initially, I went into the audition with the expectation that I will fail. It didn't feel real passing the audition; rather, I felt surprised instead kinda like a big shocked/Scare, which is what I recall for the audition
Kubo: Next, we'll ask what Nakanishi Aruno chan enjoys doing/like to do.
What Aruno enjoy doing
Aruno: I enjoy watching movies (Kubo remark: Me too! ),I am not a choosy person and would watch various type of film. But lately, I've been watching B-rated horror films (Kubo remark: ah dame da, gomen ne). My movie recommendations is: Anonymous Zombie(JP title:insta of the dead) , a story of an Instagrammer whom was attacked by a zombie. Kubo mention that she enjoys watching movies and has previously stated that she is not particularly fond of scary films. I'm hoping to form a overcome horror movie club/committee with Kubo. If possible, yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
Kubo: overcome horror movie club/committee? If it's a kouhai's request,then I have not much choice but to do it right? But then ,I am really sorry, Aruno chan, I am really bad with horror movie.I am the type of person who would run/avoid a scary movie if I saw/watched it. However, it is a request from Kouhai (laugh). Matte, let me consider/note it first. I will try to watched it with a positive attitude even though,I'm not sure how many years it will take before i get around to watching it. Aruno really seem to enjoys a wide range of film genres. If it is an comedy horror movie ,then I think I would probably have no problem watching it. Also, I'm OK with watching movies that has cute zombies. I'm fine with viewing zombie movies from other countries, but not Japanese zombie movies as I am a bit scared of it. If you want to watch a zombie comedy horror film with me, I am available at any moment. Looking forward to it though!. Next, Nakanishi Aruno has some questions for me, so let's listen to it.
(Author's note: I think that foreign films are far scarier than Japanese films, although Japan does have some great scary masterpieces such as Ju-on, Sadako, and others etc, I own a Ju-On movie poster, BTW)
Aruno's question to Kubo
Aruno: When it comes to Kubo San, she always seems to give the impression of delivering a strong/cool performance (Kubo remark:ureshii!). Not only is she skilled in dancing and singing, but I think she also presents herself in a cool/sugoii manner. I was particularly captivated with your performance on Nichijou during the 10th birthday live 2nd day. As for me, I've been assigned as the center for this 29th single, so I was wondering where I could learn how to perform like this and wished to hear more about it from you
Kubo: Ureshii! It makes me very happy to know that she praised my performance on stage. During a live rehearsal, Aruno contacted me on the way to the venue and informed me that my Nichijou performance was great. This make me really happy. To be honest, I learned by watching a lot of idol performances, such as hello project idols, stardust promo idols, and various idol groups etc. Also, because I am a bit of a wota(idol fan), I would watch a particular live several times. When I was watching, I would pick out various parts of the performance thinking, "oh, maybe I should do this hand gesture or perform this motion right now," and then I would learn and utilize it when performing Nogizaka songs.Although I have often been praised for tucking/flipping my hair, the senior actually make fun of me for it. Also, despite the fact that I have been tucking my hair nicely, it creates the impression that I am showing off my hair (Kubo laugh), which is what the senior says while teasing me. I'll live with the anxiety that Aruno will make fun of my hair one day (Kubo laugh). But right now, I'm appreciative that she acknowledged my performance, therefore I'm really ureshii! (happy). I will give it my all! Being complimented by Aruno makes me really happy. Lets work hard together for future lives and tours!
(Author's note: It's amazing how Kubo can go from addressing Aruno's question to speaking about hair.)
(Final note:the Aruno segment occurred after Teresa ANN and is a little short compare to Nagi and Hina, which I translated in my earlier post. Not sure what is generally discussed on ANN, but they could absolutely invite more members on a regular basis and resume live ANN ,on YouTube etc ).
If time permits, I will continue translating the backstage interview for 5th gen first for round 1 and 2 omitataekai, then ANN and last week appearance on radio nationwide.
