After the omitataekai
Everyone was apprehensive before the performance, and several people cried a lot. However, once we were on stage, the atmosphere/audience made us feel warm, and it made us feel relieved that everything would be alright (daijoubu). Because the fans had created such a pleasant atmosphere, I decided not to show my nervousness. I can't say I recall.... To be honest, I'm not sure whether I made any mistakes during the omitataekai. But because of that, I think I had a great time at the event and am satisfied with it. I was also able to provide a spectacular performance with the other 5th generation member, so I was quite happy.
Which senpai do you look up to?
Nagi: I like Endo Sakura a lot. First and foremost, I like her face, and every movement she makes is adorable. She is really cute no matter what she does. I aspire to be like her. I'm the sort of person who gives up easy. But Endo's determination makes others like and appreciate her. I really like her.
What could you like to do in the future?
Nagi: Rather than saying what I would like to do now, I would like to try out different things and see what I am good at and what I am not good at, as well as forge a strong bond between the senpai and the 5th generation. So I really want to try various activities.I've been telling the 5th generation members that I want to go to camping. This is what I personally like to do Although not everyone in the fifth generation was willing, when we stayed in the company dorm, we tried rope skipping and were disappointed that we could not jump 46 times. So I'd want to give it a shot in the future.
(Author's note: They attempted it in round 2 of 5th gen omitataekai, but they also failed to achieve 46 round for rope skipping. This is also the first time Nagi mentions wanting to go camping with the 5th generation members. Naonao also mentions camping in the round 2 backstage interview, which is likely due to Nagi's influence. Also, this is the first time ,a 5th generation has mentioned a company dorm. This suggests that the 5th gen members are most likely residing in a company dorm together, which is most likely in the same building but in a separate apartment/unit).
What are some things you'd like to say to the fans?
Nagi: Thank you all for coming today! Despite the fact that there are still many things I am unable to accomplish. But I believe I have a stronger mindset when it comes to taking on challenges compare to others. From now onwards, yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
